All: God of new creation, we confess we have failed to trust in Your goodness. You bring forth life on this earth, and we have betrayed Your kindness. We have turned neighbor to enemy, we have judged and we have withheld compassion and mercy. Forgive us. By the power of Your Spirit, renew our hearts and free us from our sins. Amen.
