Call to Confession:
Liturgist: Even though we continually turn away from God, the Lord is eager to forgive. Trusting in the promise of God’s grace, let us confess together our sin.
Prayer of Confession:
All: Gracious God, you know our every sin: We have failed to be generous with our gifts, our time and our love. We have been unfaithful and dishonest in small things and great things alike. Forgive us our sins, O Lord. Make us faithful stewards of the grace you have given and generous in forgiving others; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Assurance of Pardon:
Liturgist: Hear this good news. Our loving God is generous with mercy and grace. Therefore, I declare to you, in the name of Jesus Christ, you are forgiven.
Congregation: In the name of Jesus Christ, you are forgiven.
