Prayer of Confession:
Holy God, we confess that we have many excuses and reasons why it is not the right time, place, or situation for us to fully be who you created us to be. We surrender moments and pieces of our lives, rather than the whole. We fear that your plans may disrupt our desires, or that we will fail in whatever you might ask. Forgive us. We know you provide faithfully in all things you call us to do and be. Free us for joyful obedience that leads to abundant life right now. We trust you, Lord, and we need this grace that only you can give. Amen.
Assurance of Pardon:
Leader: Friends, you are loved beyond measure. There is nothing you can do to take away that love. When we confess our sin to God and one another, the mercy of the Lord restores us in this truth. In the name of Jesus Christ, you are forgiven!
