Don't Miss The Confirmation Experience

Confirmation is for students in 7th grade and up that are starting to become serious about their faith and want to explore deeper topics about it. We will have a mandatory orientation meeting for parents on November 16 from 11:15 am to 12:15 pm in the Youth space, which parents will need to attend in order to sign their student(s) up. Registration will open that day and will stay open for 2 weeks, closing on December 1.

Confirmation includes:

  • Engaging lessons on important topics like: The Trinity, Sin, The Social Principles, Spiritual Gifts, Sacraments, and more! Youth will interact with each other through small group activities and learn to apply what they are learning to their life and faith now.
  • Two Sunday afternoon retreats full of learning, community building, and fun.
  • Faith Friend who serves as an adult friend and mentor.
  • Parent class to connect and discuss the same topics the students are exploring.

The purpose of Confirmation is to prepare students for the vows of membership in the church.  Through Confirmation, they will learn more about their faith, what it means to be a United Methodist, and what it means to be a member of Franklin First UMC. After taking classes every Sunday morning for a few months, they will be confirmed as full, professing members of the church on April 26, 2026.

Consider joining us for this adventure. Classes start on December 7, 2025 and are held at 8:30 AM in the Youth space at Main Campus.
