Congregation: God of mercy, we come to you this Lenten season with confession. We do not live according to your ways but according to our own. Forgive us, we pray, for following paths other than those you set before us. Lead us to acts of worship, devotion, compassion and justice. Teach us to be your disciples. Amen.
Assurance of Pardon:
Pastor: Making a way through all our brokenness, God leads us into new life and offers us forgiveness. Therefore, I declare to you in the name of Jesus Christ, you are forgiven!
