Call to Confession:
Leader: When we cry out to the Lord for forgiveness, that gift is willingly given to each of us. Trusting in this promise, let us confess our sins before God and one another as together we pray:
Prayer of Confession:
All: Merciful God, we confess we have not lived with grateful hearts. We have forgotten all you have given and all you are. Remind us of the bounty of your gifts and forgive our fears and doubts. Allow us to live and give freely and generously in the name of the One who gave his life for us. Amen.
Assurance of Pardon:
Leader: We are grateful to you Jesus for your mercy and we welcome your grace. Therefore I declare to you that in the name of Jesus Christ you are forgiven!
Congregation: In the name of Jesus Christ you are forgiven.
