Come visit the “babies & Barbies” at Friday night’s Art Crawl. Ms. Tommie Poynter, a Meals on Wheels friend of ours, has allowed us to borrow part of her lifelong collection of dolls to display on Friday night. I have delivered meals to Ms. Tommie and have become a great friend of hers. Since I saw her doll collection for the first time years ago, I have wanted to share it with a larger community. I collected dolls as a child but I have never seen a collection quite like this one. Most of her dolls are African American and I never knew such a collection existed.
Come bring your daughters & granddaughters to see this incredible collection this Friday night, February 3 at our beautiful downtown Historic Sanctuary anytime from 6 to 9 pm!
