Our Vision
Seek first the Kingdom of God, his righteousness, and to trust God will provide everything we need.
Our congregation’s inspiration is drawn from Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount in the Gospel of Matthew 6:33. In early 2019, amidst concerns about the congregation’s debt, the question arose, “How can we attract more people to our church?” Upon reflection, we realized that people wouldn’t come just to help us meet our budget; it wasn’t a vision that brought life even to those already here. We turned to the Holy Spirit, seeking God’s vision instead of our own.
Through studying the scriptures, particularly the Gospels, our leadership discovered that we had it backwards. Instead of asking, “How can we meet our needs first so we can then focus on God’s Kingdom?” we learned to prioritize seeking God’s Kingdom above all else, trusting that the Lord will provide for the rest – perhaps not in the ways we expected, but in the ways that are truly best. This shift led to our vision of transforming Williamson County into a reflection of the Kingdom of God, with faith that the Lord will guide us along the way.

Our Mission
To make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. We share the mission of the United Methodist Church around the world.
We seek God’s Kingdom by introducing people to Jesus Christ, letting Christ’s grace move people to become to receive his salvation and become his disciples, then helping one another grow deeper in our faith and ready to invite more people to become Christian disciples with us. We fulfill our discipleship through our personal and congregational commitments of our prayers, our presence, our gifts, our service, and our witness.
