This Year…

Room In The Inn’s Winter Shelter program runs from November through March each year, in coordination with almost 200 congregations throughout Middle Tennessee. The program provides safe shelter, warm meals, and fellowship for our neighbors struggling with homelessness during the coldest months of the year.

Franklin First UMC welcomes twelve overnight guests 1-2 times each week from November through March. These men, women, and children who are experiencing homelessness are picked up in Nashville and transported to our main campus. They receive a hot, nourishing meal, have the opportunity to shower, are provided with a safe place to sleep, have access to articles of clothing they may need, and are given breakfast and a sack lunch before being transported back to Nashville.

This ministry does not happen without an army of volunteers. Click the link below to see how you can help.
