For all the saints from whom their labors rest…

Celebrating the lives of those who have gone before us in 2025.

Each year on the first Sunday in November, Franklin First UMC joins with churches across the world in celebrating All Saints Sunday.  For many years, our church’s tradition has been to create banners for our “saints” who have died in the past year, and then display these banners during All Saints Sunday, as a way to give thanks to God for their lives and to celebrate their eternal life with Christ.  It’s one of our most moving services each year with our children’s choirs leading the congregation in singing “I Sing a Song of the Saints of God,” and a powerful reminder of the promise of resurrection that we know through Jesus.
