Connect Groups

Connect Groups are centered on connecting with our community and provide a perfect introduction to the lively culture of Franklin First UMC. These groups prioritize building relationships in a warm, guest-focused environment. If you’re looking to meet new people in a relaxed and welcoming setting, drop by on of our Connect Group events or join the Good Vibes team to help at some fun events in our community alongside our community partners.

Interest Groups

Interest Groups gather for fellowship and shared passions and do not have a formal study component. Whether you’re interested in crafting, music, wellness, or building connections with others, these groups offer a space to come together around a common purpose.

Interest Groups are built around shared interests and do not follow a set start or end date. While projects and topics may change, the group remains consistent, fostering ongoing relationships. These groups meet both on-campus and off-campus, providing a variety of ways to stay connected.

Study Groups

Our mid-week study groups offer various study opportunities open to everyone, regardless of gender.  Each study is promoted through church-wide communications, with opportunities to sign up for those interested in deepening their faith and knowledge.
Study Groups are based on a topic and have a definite start and end date. People in the class start and stop with the class duration. Study Groups typically meet ON CAMPUS. Some examples of Study Groups are:
  • Wednesday Night Live Fall & Spring Semester Studies
  • Disciple Classes
  • Race & Faith Studies
  • Topical Weekday Studies

Women’s Groups

Women’s Groups offer a supportive and nurturing environment for women to grow in faith, build lasting friendships, and serve together. These groups meet regularly, both on and off campus, engaging in meaningful discussions, Bible studies, and service projects. Whether you’re seeking spiritual growth, encouragement, or a strong sense of community, Women’s Groups provide a welcoming space for connection and fellowship with other women in the church.

Men’s Groups

Men’s Groups provide a welcoming space for men to grow in faith, build meaningful friendships, and support one another in their spiritual journeys. Meeting regularly both on and off campus, these groups engage in discussions, service projects, and activities designed to deepen relationships with God and each other. Whether you’re looking for fellowship, encouragement, or a place to connect with other men in the church, Men’s Group offers a strong, supportive community.

Adults 55 and Over

Adult Ministry Plus groups offer a vibrant community for adults aged 55 and over, providing opportunities for fellowship, spiritual growth, and service. These groups meet both on and off campus, engaging in social activities and mission projects designed to deepen faith and relationships. Whether you’re looking to connect with others in the same stage of life, participate in meaningful discussions, or enjoy fun outings, our Senior Adult Groups create a welcoming environment for connection and support.
