Why Do We Do This Event?

  • Build community within the Franklin First UMC congregation.
  • Develop our youth as leaders and give them ownership in the youth ministry.
  • Raise funds for summer mission trips and other important youth programs.

What is the Chili/Trivia Fundraiser Like?

  • EAT – Select from four chili recipes and enjoy all the fixings. Save room for homemade desserts!
  • PLAY – Sign up as a team or individual for an exciting three rounds of trivia.
  • WIN – Bid in the online auction and win awesome items while supporting our youth

TRIVIA TEAMS
Trivia Teams receive awards for winning trivia. There are also awards for table decoration, best theme/costumes, and team spirit.

How To Participate

CLICK HERE to register to play trivia, to make a donation to the auction, and/or to make a financial donation to youth missions.

  1. DONATE CHILI.
    Sign up to donate chili (CLICK HERE).
    Make a batch from one of four delicious recipes. Make it at home and drop it off the day before or the day of the event.
  2. DONATE TO THE AUCTION.
    Donate new, handmade, or collectible items, gift certificates, event tickets, or services for the online auction. Please contact Walt Nichols or drop of your item at the church office.
  3. PLAY TRIVIA.
    Gather family and friends to form your team or sign up as an individual or couple and we’ll form a team for you. (CLICK HERE)
  4. DONATE FINANCIALLY.
    If you can’t come to the event or want to make an additional gift, you can make a tax-deductible donation to support youth missions. (CLICK HERE)
  5. SHOP THE ONLINE AUCTION
    Shop the auction to bid on all kinds of gifts that help support the youth of Franklin First UMC. The auction opens on February 15, 2026 and runs through the end of the live event. There’s a countdown clock to help you be first on the scene. Shop the online auction. CLICK HERE to access.

Mission Trips always change my relationship with Christ. The friendships you build and the service you do through the Lord is truly amazing. Being able to see the difference you are making in someone’s life is one of God’s greatest blessings. I’m so thankful for the opportunities to serve with this amazing youth group.
