People: As we shout your hosannas, we confess that we have sinned. Although we try to deny it, we know we have forsaken your love. Forgive us, we pray. Open the gates of your forgiveness and restore us in your mercy, for the sake of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
Assurance of Pardon:
Liturgist: Sisters and brothers, beyond the shadow of doubt, your sins are forgiven. By the mercy of Christ, let us stand together forgiven and free. Therefore I declare to you in the name and power of Jesus Christ you are forgiven.
