“I don’t know about you, but I am LOVING this spring weather (Minus the pollen, of course.) Around here the staff having been trying to get outside and walk a lap around our Main Campus each day. It has been such a treat to be together, take a break from the to-do list, and enjoy the scenery. And all this time outside has me excited about the PICKLEBALL PICNIC & PARTY PALOOZA! I can’t wait to sit outside on this beautiful campus with my church family. I can’t wait to watch folks have fun and learn to love the game of pickleball (This very competitive pastor would be playing were it not for my big pregnant belly!). I can’t wait to have a chance to breathe and share a hotdog and relish picnic dinner with my friends (The pregnant belly is uniquely excited for the relish…).

Let me clarify a few things about this event you’ll continue to hear more about. This is an all-church fellowship event. Think of it as a church wide picnic with hot dogs, beans, slaw, cookies, fruit & drinks. You sign up to come, relax and enjoy the evening. BUT you can also come and play pickleball! Whether you are a first time player or a veteran who plays every weekend, you are invited to come play. We are asking everyone, both those who want to come relax and cheer and those who want to play, to register so we can prep your food! Sign up to join us for what we hope to be a lovely Sunday evening, May 7 (from 2 to 6 pm) of fellowship and fun. The link to register as a player or picnic-attender can be found HERE. All proceeds benefit missions. Can’t wait to see you there!” ~ Pastor Carlisle
