Fellowship Opportunities
An important step on our journey of faith is to build relationships with one another. Through the strong Fellowship Ministry opportunities of Franklin First UMC, individuals and families can connect and support one another in times of joy and in times of struggle. Activities include Sunday morning Fellowship Time, Wednesday Night Live Fellowship Dinner, softball teams, walking groups, dinning out groups, bridge groups and many others. Below is a list of our events held each year:
Fellowship Time
this meets every Sunday morning at 10:00 in the Fellowship Hall. Coffee, juice and snacks and an opportunity to meet new friends between Sunday school and Worship.
Wednesday Night Live Fellowship meal
Meet at 5:15-6:15 in the Fellowship Hall. This is a great opportunity to meet new friends and take part in our Wednesday Night Live Ministry!
Dinning Out Group
Like to eat? Want to get to know others in our congregation? Join us as we chow down on Franklin’s finest restaurants! Each month we visit a new restaurant and enjoy a great time of Fellowship together!
Annual Chili Cook-off and Talent Show
This youth-led and organized event is a church-wide night of fun, laughter, awesome chili and talent like you’ve never experienced! A silent auction raises the bar on our fund-raising and all proceeds go to help keep our youth ministry vibrant and reaching out to others. Each year we highlight the specific mission or music initiatives the event supports.
July 4th Picnic on North Campus
We celebrate the 4th of July with friends and family on our beautiful North Campus. Enjoy games, picnics and a great view of the Franklin fireworks.
