Our mission is to gently guide, intently listen, and graciously love our friends and neighbors who have been diagnosed with cancer.  We aspire to live by the words of 2 Corinthians 3 & 4:

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and the God of all consolation, who consoles us in all our afflictions, so that we may be able to console those who are in any affliction with the consolation with which we ourselves are consoled by God.  (NRSV)

Listen.  Connect.  Pray.

Diagnosis Care

Team members have assembled to walk with individuals facing life changing diagnosis. This group made up of individuals who have survived cancer, lost loved ones to cancer and believe in the healing ministry of walking with others who face a similar story is a ministry that supports individuals and families dealing with new diagnosis.

We will strive to be a blessing to any member of our community as they struggle to navigate their changing world, help them discern their possible upcoming needs, and connect them to the appropriate resources our church offers.  From our own survival experience with cancer, we pray we will be a positive example of hope and faith, optimistically lessening the shock and confusion of their diagnosis, and imparting with them the compassionate love of our Lord.  With empathic hearts, we will pray with them for God’s guidance and comfort as they embark on their journey.  With the grace of God, we hope to form relationships built on the foundation of Christian love.
